The facility, which was established in the area between Ikitelli Organized Industrial Zone and crushed stone mines and which has been giving service since 1996, is right next to the 1st and 2nd Stage of Basaksehir Housing Estate. It has served the constructions especially at Basaksehir and other surrounding housing units and business and industrial facilities. Its hinterland consists of especially Ikitelli, Basaksehir in the northern area,from Esenler in the east to the Eyup borough, from Bagcilar from south to Bahcelievler, Bakirkoy, Zeytinburnu, and to the Halkali and Bahcesehir where housing is dense. Such a productive hinterland has attracted many competitors. A lot of large and small concrete facilities have established close by to gain market share from this market. Unless the structuring of the region makes it possible to make sale of each concrete station, the confidence coming from the name of Varol Concrete is the main reason of the high production figures of the station. The facility was established on 9.820 m² area and has 441 m² closed area. The facility has a concrete laboratory which has the capacity of being a central laboratory with its developed equipments, and also has vehicle repair unit which was established in order not to be dependant on any work other than body shell and paint if required. The concrete station has been selected in order to meet the need of the hinterland with its 120 m³ capacity and double filler cover. With 17 transit-mixer having 8-9-12 m³ concrete transportation capacity, 5 concrete pump having the concrete pouring capability from 32 to 47rn, 5 silos, and 4 dumper truckfor taking its own aggregate if required, 2 diesel oil tanks having 20 tons capacity, and filling station, it has more than a concrete facility should have. Although the need of aggregate can be met by the mines of Cebeci 40 km distance, Catalca also is an easy alternative for customers requiring white crushed stones. The distance of cement factories are not so far which will not adversely affect the cost.
